Job Summary: This role sets up molds and processes machines; monitors machines and ensures proper maintenance; troubleshoots machine issues; monitors and reports scrap and records actions taken to reduce scrap; evaluates tool designs; is called on to be a key team member in CSM (continuous improvement) events; and will mentor and train other techs in accordance with Standard Operating procedures.

Skills/Experience Required: Ideal candidates have 6 years of experience as a plastics mold/process technician and have knowledge of process controllers, SPC, robotics, material handling systems and injection molding equipment. RJG Certification, Master Molder I or II, or equivalent experience is required. Candidates must also have enthusiasm for getting work done in a fast paced environment.

Educational Requirements: An associates (two-year) degree focused in engineering or plastics technology; or trade school, vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field.

Certification Requirements: Ability to drive a Hi-Lo and/or a desire to become certified. Ability to operate a crane is desired.

Pay dependent on experience.
